health coach?
The American Medical Association is promoting health coaching as a way to help people “take charge of their health” and “improve health outcomes."
So what exactly is health coaching, and what could it mean for your health, your kids, and your future?
Has your physical or mental health never quite been the same since becoming a mom? Does “health” feel more complicated than ever? Yeah, me too.
When it comes to your health, you may have heard that your lifestyle is just as important - if not more important - than your genes. Which is great news! You actually have a say in how you feel, how you age, and how well you’ll keep up with your kids over time.
But you may be thinking, well then how come “health” feels so damn hard to achieve? And how come I kinda cringe when I hear someone utter the phrase “healthy lifestyle”?

of everyone’s schedules, needs, latest parenting advice for your child(ren)’s rapidly changing development - with your own work and responsibilities filling in any leftover space. Adding “get healthier” to your to-do list is not as easy as it sounds.

It’s not that you don’t want to exercise or look into some healthier meals… but you’re already relying on hits of caffeine, carbs & scrolling to keep up, let alone do more.
